In her new novel, Kathrin Röggla turns the spotlight on the NSU trial with its own roles and rules from the perspective of a many-voiced “we” sitting in the audience. Together with filmmaker Aysun Bademsoy, whose 2019 film Spuren – Die Opfer des NSU (Traces—The Victims of the NSU) takes a close look at the psychological consequences for those left behind, and writer Ronya Othmann, she explores the pressing questions that the trial continues to raise to today.
