Since 2005, Susanne Binas-Preisendörfer is professor of music and media at the University of Oldenburg. She was an active musician in the East Berlin Off-Ground (Der Expander des Fortschritts), in the 1990s, she initiated cultural and art projects in Berlin (including singuhr-hoergalerie, Club-Commission) and is involved in cultural policy contexts (including the Study Commission on Culture in Germany).
