Alexander Pehleman
Alexander Pehleman (born 1969 in Berlin-Lichtenberg) swapped his career as a wrestler with the army sports club Vorwärts in Frankfurt/Oder for pop-cultural confusion under GDR conditions. Since 1993, editor of the magazine Zonic - Kulturelle Randstandsblicke & Involvierungsmomente, focusing primarily on Eastern European subculture zones. Writer, curator, DJ (Al-Haca Sound System), compiler, journalist, networker. Based in Leipzig-Connewitz since 2009, where he co-runs Kulturny dom Lipsk/Salon Similde and propagates new Sorbian art.
