David Crowley
David Crowley ist Professor am National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Zu seinen Publikationen zählen u.a.: Warsaw (2003); Style and Socialism: Modernity and Material Culture in Post-War Eastern Europe (2000); Socialist Spaces. Sites of Everyday Life in the Eastern Bloc (2003); Pleasures in Socialism: Leisure and Luxury in the Eastern Bloc (2010). Kurator u.a. von Cold War Modern (Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 2008). Gemeinsam mit Daniel Muzyczuk hat er 2016 die Ausstellung Notes from the Underground. Alternative Art and Music in Eastern Europe 1968 – 1994 für das Muzeum Sztuki, Łódź, kuratiert und 2018 in Zusammenarbeit mit Angela Lammert die Adaption dieser Ausstellung für die Akademie der Künste, Berlin, konzipiert.
